I have a sister who has struggled with addiction for many years. I gave her a bracelet months ago and have been amazed by her connection to the bracelet. Since giving her the bracelet, my sister has relapsed and moved back into recovery. As a result of her relapse she lost her glasses, a computer, an Ipod, and most of her personal belongings. Interestingly she did not loose her bracelet and wares it every day. There is something about seeing her ware the bracelet that gives me some hope. My sister is a young woman who lives with personal pain every day but I know she has found comfort, hope, and peace with the bracelet she wares.

I have a bracelet too.
Mine was a gift from a friend. My friend gave it to me as a gift when my daughter was born.

I loved the story of the Sufi king, and appreciated having the bracelet to remind me to breath in every moment with my precious daughter. In the short time that I have been a mother I have had both sweet times and stressful times. I feel grateful to have been given a gift that helps me stay present during both the good and bad. The presence has truly brought me peace.
